Panel Heaters Can Be Seen Almost Anywhere

February 21, 2012 – The use of panel heaters is becoming very common for many households as a natural way of generating heat usually by infrared waves. Panel heaters can be mounted easily and can be installed to radiate heat in any direction because of its lightweight designs. There are several uses ways panel heaters are used such as drying, space heating, water evaporation, material preparation, curing and food processing. They can be also used in bathrooms or any areas where large bulky heating systems would not fit. Panel heaters work when materials are heated such as large infrared surface made of stainless steel, ceramic, quartz cloth or high temperature glass. One of its unique benefits would be the output of the heater not decreasing while it ages. This is possible because about 80 percent of the energy is absorbed by the panel material resulting in a reduced cost to run the unit and make it last for a long time.

Or Consider a Convector Heater

A convector heater is one of the more commonly used heating techniques when the air is drawn in, uses an element to heat the air and then diffuse it back in the room through the vents at the top of the unit.  It is also known for its economical, quiet, reliable and safe method of heating provided it is installed properly. To make sure it is properly installed, start by turning off the power supply and review the manufacturer’s installation instructions and safety guidelines as well. Next would be to find the studs in the wall using a detector. Install the wall bracket and pull the wires out of the wall at least for four inches. Next would be to hang the heater on the bracket. Lastly, install the thermostat on the wall. It should be located away from the heater but exposed enough to the room’s general airflow. Make sure to test the heater after installing it.
